Fast track processing for NHS email addresses
Registered Care Providers are invited to apply for an NHS email address to ensure they can communicate safely and securely with Allied Health Professionals.
Having an NHS email will allow staff to access discharge summaries, prescriptions, GP video consultations, family video contact, access to Microsoft Teams, inclusion on mailing lists for hot topics, and evidence of good data security as required by the Care Quality Commission Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
Accounts will be created within 48 hours and the ‘owner’ (listed on the form) will receive a confirmation email, detailing the next steps.
