Home care, also known as domiciliary care, is care given within your home.
It could include:
- Personal care and support, such as help with washing, dressing, toileting
- Preparing and eating meals
- Support to help you access and maintain links to your local community
- Help with parenting
- Support with employment and volunteering
How to access Home Care
The Council has agreements with several home care companies. To access home care, you will need to have a social care assessment from the Council.
