The proposal
BT are proposing to remove the kiosks and telephony equipment at the four payphones shown below:
- Near Yellow Lion Hotel, Aughton Lane, Aston, Sheffield S26 2AN. (Telephone number 01142 872211).
- Woodhouse Green, Thurcroft, Rotherham, S66 9AH. (Telephone number 01709 700692).
- Junction Quarry Hill Road, Wath Wood Road, Wath-Upon-Dearne, Rotherham, S63 7TN. (Telephone number 01709 872077).
- Junction Quarry Lane, Nursery Road, North Anston, Sheffield, S25 4BS. (Telephone number 01909 562638).
BT also propose to remove all the telephony equipment and retain the following kiosks (which will then be locked and empty) at the following listed phone boxes:
- Toad Lane, Brampton-En-Le-Morthen, Rotherham, S66 9BG. (Telephone number 017097 00437).
- Slade Hooton, Sheffield, S25 1YQ. (Telephone number 01909 562222).
