Install two cycle barriers at each end of the dividing footpath and place small timber posts and top rails to a section of the grass verge boundary. This would restrict any through access by off-road vehicles, causing a nuisance and stop any potential accidents involving pedestrians and off-road vehicles in the area, this would also reduce fly tipping.
