Wickersley Youth was formed in 1983 to provide football to the local community of Wickersley, Bramley and surrounding areas. The club has since grown into one of the largest youth organisations and providers of sport in Rotherham.
Our mission as a club is to get as many local youngsters as possible to play sport. We now have over 30 Boys and Girls and Ladies teams and a successful academy ranging from 4-18 years of age. We have well over 400 local boys and girls who play football for us every week and we are growing all the time.
We have a strong experienced committee and over 44 FA qualified coaches, who are all voluntary and give up their free time to provide football to the local youth.
We are an FA Charter standard football club which is the highest level of club accreditation awarded by the football association.
We provide a home for all ethnic backgrounds and openly promote diversity across all of our teams.
We aim to provide a healthy, affordable, positive, teamship based environment where children can meet new friends and learn valuable life skills.
