I offer a safe and secure homely environment and I have worked for 24 years as a qualified nurse and I have 2 children of my own. I have a large garden with ride on toys and outside games with a summer house. I provide healthy snacks and meals and go on visits to the local parks and fun activities. I am able to provide references to parents upon request. My qualifications are as follows: Qualified Nurse, BA honours in Heath and Social Care Practice modules Legal and Ethical Dimensions of Practice and Safeguarding Children and Young People, National Association for Maternal and Child Welfare parts 1,2 &3, City and Guilds Foundation course in Community Care, Disability Awareness, Child Development, Paediatric First Aid and Birth to 3 Matters, Child Protection, Importance of Record Keeping, Behaviour Management, Healthy Eating and Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness, Treasure Baskets and Heuristic Play, Empathy Dolls, Child Development 1, Child Development2, Chatter Matters and Dental Hygiene and Quality First.As we offer a homely environment my husband has been around the children I work with for years. He has now become my assistant and works with the children, this offers the children a positive role model and also enhances the service we provide. He is in the process of becoming a fully registered minder and undergoing training to meet all the relevant legislation.
I have recently gained the Quality Mark.

I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
