I recently underwent an Ofsted inspection and my rating has improved from Good to OUTSTANDING. I live in Upper Haugh with my partner and hold a Level 3 in Early Years and Education, Dip HE in Playwork, Paediatric first aid certification, Child Protection/safeguarding knowledge, Food Hygiene certification, and SEN training. I have extensive experience in this field and previously worked in a nursery. I have also completed courses/workshops in Autism awareness, behavior management, and Makaton, along with various other courses and workshops from my previous work in nursery and school environments. Recently, I was awarded a Gold award in Healthy Foundations. I operate a purpose-built childminding facility that provides a safe, secure, and stimulating indoor play space for children, with plenty of opportunities and activities to support their early learning and development. Hatherleigh House Childminders also boasts a large outdoor play area with a mud kitchen, water play area, climbing wall, park area, and a gardening area for children, along with the opportunity to learn and care for animals. I aim to provide a free flow environment for the children whenever possible, encouraging outdoor play to help them master emerging physical skills and develop their imaginations. Hatherleigh Childminders is open all year round and only closes on Easter, Christmas, and other public holidays. I also offer an afterschool club at £12.00 per session.
