Service description
I am a childminder with almost 30 years experience. I provide a development journal and i work in partnership with schools, nursery and parents. I have a large variety of educational activties and resources and I take the children on outings to play areas , childminding/ playgroups & the local library for Rhyme Time and crafts. I help children to be happy, stay safe and learn in a comfortable home from home environment. Children learn through play and socialising with others.They become kind to others, confident in themselves and school ready by the age of 3. I have had children in my care over the years from the age of 6 months until they leave at 11 years old to start at the local comprehensive school. I have built up some lovely relationships with both children and parents.
Inclusion Information
At my setting I am commited to include children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements.I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
I have accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
