Service description
I live in Laughton Common with my partner and 3 children. I offer home from home care in a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children can play, learn and develop. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to continuously plan, observe and assess the children in my care to ensure they thrive and develop through a mixture of indoor and outdoor play. My outdoor play area is secure and is used daily to encourage outdoor learning. I have a large indoor play area with equipment suitable for all ages and to support all stages of development. I provide meals and these are all homemade following nutrition guidelines and to encourage healthy eating and attitudes.I have worked as a childminder for over 9 years now and during this time I have completed many training courses, recently completing a BA Hons in Early Years at Sheffield Hallam University.
I pride myself on having excellent relationships with the families I work with in order to offer the best possible care for their children and endeavour to do this for all children in my care.

At my setting I am commited to include children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including medical and dietary requirements.
I work in partnership with outside agencies that support with your child to guarantee a multi-agency approach when meeting your child’s identified individual needs.
I have accessed training around areas relating to Special Educational Needs and disability with a commitment to keeping this updated.
