Wales Parish Poll: Tuesday 11 February 2025

Voting in a parish poll

Electors registered to vote in the Wales Parish Council area who will be 18 years old or over on 11 February 2025 will be eligible to vote in the poll. The only electors not entitled to vote in a parish poll are those registered to vote as British Citizens living overseas.

Electors will not receive a poll card, as the law does not make provisions for poll cards to be issued.

Electors must vote in person at their polling station at a parish polls.  There is no provision in the law for the issue of postal votes or the appointment of proxies.

Electors do not need to take any photo ID to vote at the polling station, as the requirement to show ID does not apply at parish polls.

The polling stations used for the parish poll are the same as those used at the local and Parliamentary elections in 2024.  If you are not sure where your polling station is for the parish poll, you can find out on the Finding your polling station page.
