Come and join Wentworth Woodhouse and become a film maker for the week, with activities from a photography, storyboarding making, acting, film making, physical activities and more!

For ages 8 to 11 years
Lunch, snacks and refreshments will be provided
Session Content
Photography challenges, storyboarding, drama games, film making, physical activities and games and a film screening of the final product on the last day.

Provider Summary
Wentworth Woodhouse is a Grade I listed mansion and one of the largest houses in Europe, built for the1st Marquess of Rockingham circa 1725. The house is now owned by the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust, a registered charity, which exists for the sole purpose of regenerating Wentworth Woodhouse for the benefit of us all.
Wentworth Woodhouse delivers a variety of engagement and educational activities throughout the year. These include family learning activities, school and learning provider visits, work placements and large scale events. Wentworth Woodhouse has a strong track record of delivering high quality place-based educational activity. In 2023 we were the winners of the Historic Houses Announces Frances Garnham Award, in recognition of our innovative approach to education and community engagement work.
The Wentworth Woodhouse Summer Film Club builds on Wentworth Woodhouse’s successful delivery of film-based learning opportunities for young people in Rotherham. Wentworth Woodhouse is a digital partner for Rotherham’s Children’s Capital of Culture programme in 2025, and since 2022 has delivered annual digital and film training programmes for young people (16+).
