Life Act
Life Act is a theatre company of incredibly talented actors who just happen to have disabilities. Their performances offer a moving and honest exploration of what it's like to live with a disability. They take their shows to schools, colleges, and organisations in the public sector. Most recently they performed their play ‘Love’s complicated’ at Rotherham Civic Theatre.
The company embraces the social model of disability, which is a way of thinking about and challenging the way society is organised. They strive to create performances that show the positives and challenges of living with a disability and break down barriers.
Life act is very supportive and friendly. As one of their actors said, ‘If the world were more like Life Act, it would be a much better place.’
Life Act is supported by ROAR and generously funded by The Big Lottery Fund.

A Syrian Arada and Dabke dance group offering an immersive cultural experience that brings the rich traditions of Syria to life. The Arada is a ceremonial dance often performed at weddings and special occasions, where a leader, known as the "leader," commands the group. The leader leads with chants, and the rest of the dancers echo his words in unison, creating a powerful and rhythmic call-and-response that engages both participants and the audience.
They also include the Raqsat Al-Tirs (Shield Dance), a performance that adds a historical and dynamic element to the show, symbolizing protection and valour. These dances not only showcase Syria's cultural heritage.

The Station
The Station are an indie rock ‘n’ roll band. Likened to a light at the end of a tunnel, they play euphoric and upbeat guitar music that anyone can dance to.
