Details of proposal
At the heart of the park redevelopment will be a new eatery and meeting place with views extending over the lake. Space surrounding the café will be remodelled and will include a meeting room and events space on the first floor, new green space suitable for events and a new play area.
This will be supplemented by another newly created green space adjoining the village centre, opening up space between it and the water sports centre.
Existing car parking spaces will be improved and new parking areas will be created to enable better access to the park all year round
This development will represent the first phase of investment in a masterplan for the site.
