Census returns
Microfilm of the census returns for 1841 to 1901 are held for the whole of borough and for a few other places just over the boundary.
There is a location index covering streets and addresses for Rotherham for all seven censuses. There are also personal name indexes to the 1841 to 1891 censuses.
