Residents looking to start their career or take the next steps are being encouraged to attend a recruitment and networking event later this month.
A wide range of employers from across the borough will be at the Rotherham Council event on Friday 27 September at Riverside House.
Both public and private sector employment opportunities are available including in health and social care, customer services, leisure and security and administration. Other opportunities are also being showcased, including further education, training and volunteering.
Cllr Robert Taylor, Cabinet Member for Transport, Jobs and the Local Economy said: “Our last recruitment event was a huge success with more than 600 people attending and I’m pleased that we are again able to bring such a diverse range of employers together again.
“Whether you’re looking for extra hours or pay, wanting to further your career or develop new skills through education and training, I’d encourage people to come along and see the wide range of opportunities available.”
The recruitment event takes place on Friday 27 September, from 10am to 2pm at Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham, S60 1AE.
