This December we are running lots of fun events across Rotherham.

You can find the full list of our events here.

Christmas Pantomime – Robin Hood

Rotherham Civic Theatre will be showing this year's Christmas pantomime, Robin Hood, from Thursday 28 November to Sunday 5 January 2025.

Join Robin’s merry band of misfits: the larger-than-life Little Jane, our fabulous panto dame, the hilariously charming comic, Will Scarlet and the kind – hearted Freya Tuck. And of course, what’s a panto without a sprinkle of romance? Love blossoms between Robin and the enchanting Maid Marian.

When King Richard’s children, Polly, and Penny, escape from the clutches of the villainous sheriff, it’s a race against time! Will Robin and the Merry Gang save them before it’s too late? Will they vanquish the Sheriff and restore peace to Nottingham?

Robin Hood promises to be a fun-filled adventure with all the usual, fabulous Rotherham panto madness.

Our Habitats, Our Home at Clifton Park Museum

Our beloved brown bear is back to explore the past, present, and future of Rotherham’s habitats in this family friendly exhibition. Come along to find out about how Marco the bear’s search for evidence of his ancestors is going. Along the way he’s learning all about Rotherham’s changing habitats and wildlife.

Take part in our new trail around the exhibition! The trail is designed for young children to help them explore the exhibition and find some of the items in it. Don’t forget to count Marco’s paw prints in this colourful and fun, interactive trail. Pick up a booklet and start searching.
