Shale gas and hydraulic fracturing (fracking)

Have your say on fracking

The law says we must make objective decisions on fracking applications and we're committed to being open and transparent about approaches made to us by fracking companies.

We will publicise any planning application we receive for fracking development so local people have the opportunity to get involved and have their say.

If we do receive a planning application for fracking-related development, you will be able to comment online, via email or in writing.

Find and comment on a planning application

Members of the public who have made written representations on a particular application will also have the opportunity to speak at the planning committee meeting.
