The quickest and easiest way to use our website is to use search. Use the search box to help you find council services and information. Our search box is available at the top of every page on our website.
Use terms and phrases
No matter what you're looking for, start with a simple search phrase like "report a missed bin". You can always add a few descriptive words if necessary.
Use locations
If you're looking for a place or service in a specific location, add the location. For example, "rawmarsh library".
Use everyday words
When you're deciding what words to put in the search box, try to choose words which you would naturally use in everyday speech. For example, instead of saying "household waste recycling centre", say "tip" or "dumpit".
Don't worry about the little things
Capitalization. A search for "Report a Missed Bin" is the same as a search for "report a missed bin".
Searching the internet
If you need to search things which are not council services or information, you will need to use the search bar in your web browser to search the internet.
