Anglers are not permitted to use more than 2 rods per rod licence, if using 3 rods then two E.A rod licences are required by law. There is a 3 rod limit per angler at Ulley Country Park.
All anglers must possess a landing net. Any Landing net or keep net must be of a knotless material and keep net bans maybe imposed from time to time at the discretion of the Ranger on duty or manager. Signs will be displayed on site should this be the case.

It is requested that Pike Anglers have the correct landing and unhooking equipment such as a landing net, mat and forceps before starting to fish to ensure good welfare.
Aswell as a fishery, Ulley is a Country Park and consideration must be given to other park users and the wildlife that lives there whilst fishing/casting. In the event of any dispute between Park users, the Ranger on duty’s decision is final.
Due to the depth of the water and steep drop-offs, wading is not permitted.
The use of remote control bait boats is not permitted.
All fishing matches must be booked in advance with the ranger on duty or by calling 01709 850353. Signs for upcoming matches are displayed at park entrances well in advance of the match date. Pleasure Anglers are required to use those pegs that are not involved in the match and will be asked to move if they are in the match area.
All persons shall observe the above regulations and other regulations that RMBC may, from time to time, introduce for the preservation of fish, wildlife, purity of water and management of the site. Failure to observe these regulations may result in loss of permit and if necessary, legal action may be taken.
