What happens after you report a concern?

When you report abuse, the Council will:

  • Listen to you and take your concerns seriously
  • Make enquiries about the concerns
  • Consider the wishes of the adult at risk
  • Talk to the police if a crime is being committed
  • Consider if anyone else is at risk.
