What we will do and when we will do it

We will carry out a regular estate maintenance programme to ensure that the area where you live is well maintained

Each week we will:

  • Ensure that bin chutes are clear from blockages and rotate communal bins for collection.
  • Sweep bin stores and remove overspill waste.
  • Sweep and mop the floors within enclosed shared entrances, staircases, and landings.
  • Dust and wipe window ledges, doors, handrails and skirting boards within enclosed shared entrances, staircases, and landings
  • Clean communal doors and screens
  • Remove or carry out work to trees identified as dangerous (1 to 10 working days).

Each month we will:

  • Remove litter.
  • Remove fly-tipping.
  • Remove non offensive graffiti.
  • Ensure unadopted footpaths (these are paths belonging to the landowner: Housing) are swept and kept clear of rubbish.
  • Carry out an inspection of the area to identify issues such as repairs, abandoned vehicles, and anti-social behaviour.
  • Inspect housing owned play areas.

Every two months we will:

  • Clean communal windows internally and externally.

Each year we will:

  • Carry out a deep clean of enclosed entrances, staircases and landings and bin stores using disinfectant and machines to remove ground in dirt.
  • Cary out a full inspection report on play areas.
  • Cut hedges (between August and February)

Every two years we will:

  • Carry out Shrub bed maintenance.
