Homelessness: Temporary accommodation

How can the Council end its duty to accommodate?

The council can end its duty to you:

  • If you have accepted a suitable offer of accommodation for at least six months
  • If you have refused an offer of suitable affordable accommodation
  • If you have moved out and made your own housing arrangements.
  • If, due to your own actions, you have been evicted from temporary accommodation
